Muse have spoken:

Muse: “Last night was special. We love you, Belgium, and we’re happy to have taken you to the place where it all began for a moment.”

Honestly, though 20 years apart, some of these pictures do really take me back to the early days — the antics, the energy, the expressions, it’s like 25 years never passed.

Muse have nothing to apologise for and I’m glad they enjoyed it too, at the very end!

Other pictures from the gig from Muse’s post:

Muse on Kerrang! TV (2005)—Unintended video comments

Narrator: For the final single off Showbiz, Muse released Unintended. After Matt's dramatic tour de force in the video for Sunburn, this time it was Dom's turn to shine...
Dom: ... I think I was probably just looking bored in that video.
Chris: [laughs]
Matt: He's doing it, like, 'It killed me, it killed me!'. Terrible.
Dom: It was meant to be some kind of performance. But for some reason, the director forgot to get a drum kit and he went, 'Oh well, right, well we haven't got a kit so, I dunno, you just sit over there and just get your sticks out'.
Chris: [laughs]
Dom: Do you know what I mean? Like, twiddling them around and you know, Matt had a guit—did you have a guitar?—no, but Chris had a bass, at least, to hide behind. So I was just sitting on the chair, fiddling my drum sticks trying to look meaningful, but I think that video was more about, just the kind of uh, uh just the way it looks, really, rather than the actual...
Matt: [?] with that video really.
Dom: No.
Matt: It's like Chris is with a double bass with a couple of women twisting around him.
Dom: Yeah, it was more about the actual...
Matt: You were on a bed looking moody with the drum sticks just going, 'This is just so deep, man'. Yeah, it was just generally an all round embarrassing experience, you know. There you go, that's what being in a band is, especially in the early days. [laughs] Ugh, I remember when we first got that video out on tour somewhere, someone played the video and I just... ahh, the pain...
