The thing is that every single time I listen to a Little Simz song, I need to just stand still and process it like new, more often than not I'm just left standing there one hand over my mouth, just completely taken over by her work. The stakes are so high. The struggles are so poignant. The victories so joyous, the descriptions so clear and vivid. She really is the crowned leader of modern British hip hop. What a visionary.
