Andy,

Your strength amazes me. That you were this ill and never let it show, that you were playing and creating up until the last. You are a wonder. I won’t use past tense because you still are. And you always were that incredible.

I’ll always believe you never got the credit you were due. But you improved everything you touched - and you touched so much. I had never heard someone play bass like that before, and suddenly, I realized I had fallen totally in love with it. A love that has never faded and has carried me through so much. That’s your power. And I hope you knew that.

At a time when the words would be best, I can’t find many more of them. The shock is still too fresh, the tears still flowing. But just know Andy how loved you are, by so many and most certainly by this girl whose life you touched so greatly.

Love you forever, Andy.
