Digimon Adventure Music ~20 Essential Songs~

These are probably the most important songs in the Digimon Adventure, Digimon Adventure 02 and Digimon Adventure tri (!) soundtrack. This list includes the Opening Themes, the Ending Themes, most important insert songs, as well as some major instrumental tracks.

I believe that every Digimon fan should know these pieces of music — they are the most important songs in the Adventure universe, and most play a prominent role in the actual TV series. They also happen to be awesome!!

Oh, and If you like listening to them, I encourage you to support the artists.

hey! can you please tell me where I can listen to some of yamato's song from digimon if there are any? :D:D :D

With pleasure!

Nowadays, the easiest and fastest way to access the songs is Youtube (since torrents/sites to download it from aren’t as easy to find). Of course this isn’t strictly-speaking legal, so I do encourage everyone to buy the CDs, support the franchise, etc.

So here’s a list of Yamato’s songs from Digimon Adventure/02/tri.:

Character themes (including TEEN-AGE Wolves and KOD songs)

Instrumental themes

Duets/Group Songs

Have fun :)

Since Ketsui I'm waiting for a ~tri. version~ of Target. When you've grown up with Adventure, Butter-Fly (or its national version) sure is an epic nostalgic childhood song. 02 was -bc of getting older- more a question of taste in music (speaking as a big fan of the 02 opening and the later reappearence with Imperialdramon, destroying a whole castle everytime… haha, how silly!). Though Wada sang the song, I'm still hoping for it. Do you share some aspects and/or have other thoughts about the ost?

I love Target, because I associate it with the time when Digimon came back on TV and I started getting really into Digimon again as a little girl. Such an awesome song, and I’m particularly fond of the acoustic and instrumental versions! There’s a snowball’s chance in hell it’s ever going to be featured in tri., unfortunately, but there’s always a the possibility that we could get another version at some point in the future.

And I’m sorry but I didn’t really get the final question D: Do you want my opinion about the entire soundtrack or just Target? Could you be a little more specific?

it is December 2015, fifteen years since the album’s release, and Daisuke and Ken’s greatest contribution to the franchise is them seductively saying “baby, it’s Christmas”
