One rain and the zombies are popping up!
The rain arrived not with the usual tumult of a desert thunderstorm, but timorous, like kitten paws on an undiscovered country. It began as a gentle pizzicato on sagebrush and built to a thunderous chorus of snare drums on the tin roof.
