I’m an indie Author. It means I do not have a publisher to promote my books with their marketing department so my books rely entirely on word of mouth to be sold. my book blog is @chaoslogsofficial and I’ve got two books out on Amazon here and here. I write futuristic science fiction novels centered on a cast packed with QPOC characters of various ethnicities and orientations under those umbrellas.
You can get Ebook copies of both of my books for about $7 combined and there are print editions with exclusive art sets in them for the added cost.
I wish it was easier to be Bi. I wish we all could be open about it and be accepted anywhere outside our own group.
Everyone that sang the guy and girl parts of love songs is bisexual nowadays.
Actual bi representation is important. But I feel like what's equally important is the thought of bi representation. I hate the feeling of surprise that comes with a character saying or being word of god confirmed as bi cuz it's not good, it feel like a last resort was reached. The old "at least" bi feeling. It's the feeling of being third in the acronym like it's a hierarchy. Almost no one wants to see you but they'll acknowledge you if you're ACTUALLY there.
Life is so tiring when you gotta like declare you exist just to be acknowledged. That's what the third letter of the acronym has to do.

It's so funny how there's all this talk of bisexuals invading spaces they're already supposed to be in, but I've come to realize that you all think it's an invasion because y'all don't talk or think about bi people in the first place, so whenever we talk about ourselves and our experience it's a shock to you that someone's got the nerve to not just default to saying they're gay and only talk about an experience that you agree with.
Unless you're just outright and proudly biphobic (in which case please absolutely throw yourself into an abyss somewhere) then you should know Bi people make up the majority of whatever you wanna call our community. You should be talking about people being bisexual. You should be amplifying Bi voices and experiences because of how closeted and prone to abuse our orientation is. You should be talking about the little bit of bi representation there is in media and asking for more. And most importantly
You should not shutdown bisexuals who are talking about their different gender partner or attraction. It is an integral part of our identity.
I'm tired of feeling like I have to assimilate into someone else's experience to feel like mine is real and valued. Bisexuality is real and deserves to be treated as such.
