Siren was named by her handlers for her superpowered voice that causes intense pain for anyone who hears it. Seized and imprisoned when she was very young by those who were afraid of her power and wanted her locked away forever, she eventually found her way to people who started training her as a weapon. She tries her best to be the best weapon she can be, seeing it as an honor compared to the monster she was told she was before. She’s very obedient, very attentive, but also very curious about a world she knows absolutely nothing about since she remembers nothing before her captivity.

It’s unlikely that you’ll see Zara outside of roleplay, though who knows, maybe she’ll eventually make a Tumblr debut. She’s a photographer with a sassy, sarcastic side and a sometimes dark sense of humor. While looking for a job to help save money for her upcoming wedding, she stumbled upon the wrong company and ended up gaining genie-like powers, tying her to her engagement ring like a lamp. Ever since, she’s been taken advantage of by one person after another, and she’s absolutely sick and tired of it.

Kitarni

Another OC who may or may not ever make a Tumblr appearance, or any other kind of public appearance, but she will probably be mentioned at some point. Kitarni is Kamaria’s older cousin, whom she hasn’t seen since the night of the attack on the village. They both assume the other didn’t make it, while they’ve each been going through their own, separate ordeals. Whether or not they’ll ever reunite? Not even I know.

Ayanna

Another Vaya OC that is still in the brainstorming stages! She’s from a different village than Kamaria and Kitarni, and was taken captive by a Kedosian officer when the attacks happened. Curious, creative, and determined, she’s now trapped in a life as a trophy of war.

An introvert with a creative eye and a budding career in illustration, Cadence was forced to leave her friends and life behind when her stalker turned into her kidnapper, torturing her for weeks before letting her go again. She changed her name, dyed her hair, and tried to start over on the opposite side of an enormous city, but Oliver has too many connections for her to get away that easily.

Devin and Janaysia have been friends since highschool, only adding Cady to the friend group recently when she started working on her illustrations at the coffee shop where he works. Fairly quiet in public, at home he’s confident and full of jokes, ready to lighten the mood.

A wealthy man with good connections, Charles made a good match for Adelaide that all parties were pleased with, at least initially. He had, however, expected her to produce an heir at some point. In his mind there’s absolutely nothing wrong with treating his wife any way he wishes. She is his property, after all.

As captain of The Dark Storm, Payne expects strict obedience from his crew. Anyone who acts otherwise will be swiftly and thoroughly punished in any number of painful ways, though his favorite method for immediate punishment is using his ever present cane.

Living high in the Sarri Mountains, Ajemsi doesn’t bother herself with the wars and other affairs of the bi-pedals, but she does have a soft spot for the one half-Vaya who learned how to call her as a child. It was she who gave her the name Ajemsi, and while it’s amusing compared to the grandeur of her real name, she’s grown rather fond of it, as well.

Kamaria’s mother Roshni was a healer in the Vaya community before everything was destroyed. She was kind and compassionate, and Kamaria lives every day missing her and knowing that she wouldn’t approve of the way her daughter is currently living.

The first and only run-in the team has had with Luna was definitely a memorable one, and one they’d like to refrain from repeating in the future. With the power of mind control, Luna’s main goal is to entertain herself at the expense of others, especially goody-two-shoes superheroes.

A brash and reckless 20-something, Meltdown is best known for throwing his fire left and right without paying much attention to who or what might be in the way.

Talented at hand to hand combat, Reaper’s ability is power negation. Other villains that he’s teamed up with have developed technology to protect themselves, but unfortunately for the team, they didn’t share their secret.
