And other times he thought that he really did deserve the praise. He took care of Jenna ever since he decided to be serious with the relationship. But it wasn't as if she would be lost without him either. He was privileged with praise, Ezra told himself again and again. But he was also privileged to see other people who did not ask to be taken care of. Jenna never tied him down or made him feel guilty for ever hesitating to leave her, nor did she force him into agreeing to be with her. He recalled her hesitance at first, and even gave him the disclaimer that things were not going to be easy with someone in her condition. Nonetheless, he accepted the responsibility with open arms and was paid with compliments and advantages by doing so. But with this impending surgery, all of that would suddenly disappear and he would no longer be the hero people saw him to be––as false as it was.

Can we talk about this adorable moment? He looks so proud to be showing her off. I love the way Ezra is always so supportive and proud of everything Aria does. The way he describes her as a “gifted writer”, like he just puts so much positivity into everything she’s interested in. He knows she’s struggling with college, so he talks up a college professor to tell him how amazing she is and gets so excited to introduce him to her. I would have loved to hear what Ezra was saying earlier before Aria showed up. But the sparkle in his eyes and the smile on his face as he’s showing Professor Milson who the incredible girl is he was describing earlier just puts hearts in my eyes.

Does she realize that maybe the fans didn’t like it because of the plot holes? AND LET’S BE REAL HERE, she didn’t even handle the transgender storyline properly. She just did it for the shock value and because she wanted the show to be “progressive”. If anything, she helped in tarnishing the trans community by showing a violent trans character who had no redemption whatsoever. She basically showed us how Charles/Cece (who is a trans) went psycho because she wasn’t accepted by her father. Marlene wanted us sympathize with Cece merely because she was a trans? But what’s there to sympathize when Cece literally grew up violent AND targeting four girls who turned out to have absolutely no connection to her (even though the show had been claiming the girls knew more about “that night” TF) It’s HER family’s issue. She targeted the girls out of pure evil hate. She dated her brother to get close to her family. She killed a cop to cover up her ass. Cece even TRIED to blow them all up in the end. (FYI, THAT’S NOT HOW REDEMPTION WORKS, MARLENE) The transgender doesnt even matter in this whole case. But the fact that Marlene put that in the show just implies she just wants some Orange is the New Black kind of attention but it falls flat.
But come on, I was into the transgender story (Vanessa’s acting was superb) but even Marlene couldn’t do that right. Seriously, she’s doing everything in this show to be popular, to get praise. She doesn’t value good writing anymore. AND I guess I’m transphobic for not liking the finale. I guess the majority of the viewers are all transphobic.
And while we’re at it, S1 and S2 were good because it was written by Sara Shepard whose A was Mona. The writers had a guide thanks to Sara. But everything after that, all written and led by Marlene. Complete trash.
Nonetheless thanks for running and producing the show, Marlene. We owe you that. Thanks for putting a wonderful cast and all that and for that fandom that was produced because of it. But we don’t have to like everything you do and sorry if you can’t handle us not praising your ass. It’s just really unprofessional that you can’t answer to your mistakes but instead you insult us by accusing us all of something so severe. As Hanna Marin would say, “You’re rude.”

Also, wasn't Spencer at Radley in season 3? Cause if Cece was still there around that time, you'd think Spence would've run into her. But then again maybe Cece had escaped at that point and she never ran into any of the workers around Rosewood, lmao.
Yeahhh, I’m done figuring this out. I want everything to be explained but I don’t think we’re going to get that and the writers have already decided to leave their mess behind since they are jumping 5 years forward to start anew. Best hope is that the time-jump will be well written since it is kind of a fresh slate for everyone.
You know who else is pissed about the finale?
The actual prom queen during Jason’s senior year. Poor girl.
