Nonny I LOVE Les Mis!! Both in general and the movie with Aaron. He was sooooo good as Enjolras!!!! SO GOOD!!!! I could listen to him sing “ONE MORE DAY BEFORE THE STORM!! AT THE BARRICADE OF FREEDOM!!!!” for forever. Did you see the cast perform it at the Oscars!? HE LOOKED SO GOOD AND SANG SO BEAUTIFULLY! And his hair is just wonderfully fluffy in the film and I love it. I mean look at this beautiful fucker. AND GOD HIS ENDING !!!!! DESTROYS ME EVERY TIME!!😭😭😭AHHHH!!
Any way, yes I love Les Mis a lot. It’s a great musical full of fantastic songs and characters. I sing One Day more and The Confrontation all the time lol (although the confrontation is very hard to do on my own lol. one day more is a bit easier). Plus the movie has Hugh Jackman too and I love that man. And Samantha Barks as Eponine? Pure brilliance. She’s amazing. I love Les Miserables <3

oml so you probably know this. but the guy who plays ?mike from that show you like and eddie redmayne are both in le mis and they look a lil bit goofy with their curly hair and superlong coattails or whatever you call them. anyways. sorry if you already knew this i'm just dying and needed to SHARE
Yes!!! Aaron Tveit is his name :) I think Les Mis was technically the first thing I ever saw him in but I didn’t know who he was when I watched it so it’s funny to go back and rewatch the film cause I scream whenever he’s on the screen now lol. He does indeed look like a goof in it lol. Eddie Redmayne too but Aaron’s hair makes me laugh. Look at this floof. Cutie. I love the period costumes though. I’m a big history nerd so give me a dude in a period waistcoast and long coat and I’m a dead.
But god isn’t his voice amazing though. If you haven’t yet you should check out his other Broadway credits (Moulin Rouge, Next to Normal, Catch Me If You Can, Grease Live, etc.) cause his voice is absolutely beautiful and he’s an incredible stage actor. Plus he looks wonderful in Moulin Rouge, Next to Normal breaks my heart but is so good and Catch Me If You Can is just a lot of fun.

definitely a lot of fun looking back at when i had no idea who he was 😂 I actually drew a portrait of him in my high school art class for facial anatomy practice, and I had no idea who he was, I hadn’t even seen the movie I literally just picked him for the curls 😂😂
(then when i actually watched it only to find out he only has like 15 minutes of screentime, I was sooooooo let down)

I too am disappointed that he only has like 15 mins of screen time. In my head it’s much more than that. So sad.

Hello! I know this isn’t TAT or anything but I was wondering if you had or know someone who has any good les misèrables whump in gif form? There were some really good moments. I just watched the musical live and then the movie.

I love Les Mis (and pretty much any broadway musical lol)!!! I haven’t really seen a lot of gifs of the whumpy parts but I found a few that are angsty and focus on some of the whump. Maybe I’ll put les mis on my gif list for when I feel like making gifs again cause I really can’t find gifsets of the whumpy parts at all. Here’s what I have found:
