Can we talk about inej kinda caressing kaz’s cheek in the poison scene in 02.05? Like, her holding one hand over his mouth, the other stroking his cheek while holding him in place? Its so small but made the whole scene SO MUCH BETTER ,OMG THE WHUMP

Oh my god what an A+ whump moment!! I love that Kaz looks at her and has a few seconds of peace before he realizes what's happening and the panic and touch aversion sets in and he viscerally pulls away. I love that Inej apologizes because she knows he hates touch. I LOOOVE the ways she rubs her thumb against his cheek in order to comfort him. God it's just ALL SO GOOD!!!

He actually looks at ease here if only for a second. I wonder if he thought he was dreaming still. Do you think Kaz Brekker, Dirtyhands, the bastard of the Barrel and the deadliest boy in Ketterdam has had dreams about waking up to Inej Ghafa beside him? I definitely do.
I actually really love this tiny Kanej moment. Inej apologies for touching him and then moves on for his sake- she doesn’t ask questions, she just lets it go. Lets him recover.
