Oh sure! Head injury can definitely cause blindness or hearing loss especially if the head injury resulted in any brain damage. Blindness could also be caused by damaging the optic nerve and deafness can be caused by damage to the ear canal. Basically yeah if you hit someone in the head hard enough in the right spot you can be blinded or have hearing damage. Check out these links:
