Okay so I was wondering if you knew of any good tv show episodes/movies where a male is held for quite sometime and is heavily focused on, and has a scene where he tries to escape, but ends up getting caught.

Okay your request. First of all that is a damn good trope and I love it. Here are some episodes I think you might like:
- Hawaii Five-0 5x07 (Steve is taken captive and tries to escape)
- Poldark season 3 (3x05 is the big one) (Dwight is taken captive. He never tries to escape really but is held for a long time)
- Once Upon a Time season 5 (5x13 and 5x14) (Killian is held captive in the underwold during this season and tries to escape at least once)
- Outlander season 4 (4x10-4x13) (Roger Mackenzie is held captive. tries to escape multiple times and fails)
- Game of Thrones season 2 (2x07) )Jaime Lannister is held captive and tries to escape at least once)
I know there are more but man my mind is going blank. Like I’m pretty sure there’s a Supernatural episode like this but I can’t remember which one. Ugh it’s driving me nuts! I know there are more!
