Is there any Robert Pattinson whump in the new Batman movie????
I had a couple friends who saw it and gave me the scoop:
During a few fights he was hurt and was laying there visibly in pain. But he is more emotionally scarred than physically. "This Batman is fueled by angst."
In one scene people were jumping to protect him, then trying to wake him and were telling him to lie still. (But there was not much comfort and he brushes off his injuries quickly.)
To quote one friend:
"Really didn’t go into that thinking Pattinson would end up my favorite interpretation of the character, but here we are. He’s a wounded detective, as written. Finally that angle is on film." :)
There’s this one scene, oh there’s this one scene… Just don’t get me and @aceofwhump started 😅
Oooh my god yeah @of-wounds-and-woes that scene 😍😍 I can't wait til it's out on digital so I can gif it lol.
Without giving spoilers, theres a scene where he's knocked out by an explosion and then wakes up surrounded by people who try to take off his mask.
Then there's another scene where he got shot by a shotgun and the bullet didn't penetrate but it knocked his ass over a ledge and he's in pain and nearly passed out from it. He is saved and pulled him up but he's super weak and disoriented and in pain and has to inject himself with adrenaline to keep going. It's lovely.
And he spends the whole movie being a super emotional angsty mess. It's great. I loved it
