I will say, based on everything I have heard, the 2022-23 tour definitely was a testing/trying/experimenting type of thing, with some general intentions and ideas behind it, and this seems to be the product of that. which I think is frankly really cool! But personally I don't vibe on "all of this was a planned to a t from the start" idea, that takes an appreciation for the band's playfulness and curiosity out of the picture and I think is just not totally true
