Rest In Peace Carrie Fisher
Debbie Reynolds & Carrie Fisher - A Tribute at the 2017 Golden Globes
I am mentally ill. I can say that. I am not ashamed of that. I survived that, I’m still surviving it, but bring it on. Better me than you.

Do you have a message for people who suffer with bipolar disorder?
Oh, yes. You can outlast anything. It’s complicated, it’s a job, but it’s doable. One of the greatest things that happened for me was that psychotic episode. Having survived it, I now know the difference between a problem and an inconvenience. Bipolar disorder can be a great teacher. It’s a challenge, but it can set you up to be able to do almost anything else in your life. - Carrie Fisher [x]
Men don’t age better than women, they’re just allowed to age.
It’s never easy to lose such a vital, irreplaceable member of the family, but this is downright heartbreaking. Carrie was one-of-a-kind who belonged to us all- whether she liked it or not. She was OUR Princess, damn it, & the actress who played her blurred into one gorgeous, fiercely independent & ferociously funny, take-charge woman who took our collective breath away. Determined & tough, but with a vulnerability that made you root for her & want her to succeed & be happy. She played such a crucial role in my professional & personal life, & both would have been far emptier without her. I am grateful for the laughter, the wisdom, the kindness & even the bratty, self-indulgent crap my beloved space-twin gave me through the years. Thanks Carrie. I love you, mh
Harrison Ford goes out into his backyard. He looks up at the stars and finds the brightest one. He shakes his head as he speaks. “You just had to tell them we slept together, didn’t you?” Carrie Fisher emerges in the sky like Mufasa and looks down on Harrison Ford before flipping him off.

“I did my best to come off as this kind of ironic, amused, disenchanted creature. An often chatty, even giddy gal with little to no sense of fashion.”
