[ID: a very simply drawn three panel comic. the first panel shows a person approaching a cat that's laying on the floor and reaching down to hug her, saying "gertie." the second panel shows two coins falling from the person's shirt pocket. the third panel shows the coins bouncing off the cat, who doesn't care.]

I really wasn't prepared to see just how accurate the depiction of this cat was in that other post. :')

I need to know who names the pets at the Anne Arundel, Maryland Animal Control
I know you're on tumblr. Come out with your hands up. I just want to talk.
I had to go take a look, and I found some other gems
Oh, keep going. The cats are aces. This all happened because I noticed a kitten called Pot Hole on petfinder and it somehow got better from there?

Sadly the lone chicken does not have a picture. It does have a name, though.
this article is very much talking about pregnant people specifically but this happened almost verbatim to me when doctors thought my organ failure had to do with my uterus, this thing where they just send you home without an exam if they think the problem is anything to do with reproductive organs wasn’t even rare before all this legislation got going. afab people can literally be projectile vomiting and bleeding in an emergency room and be sent home more than once with ibuprofen and now doctors have even more excuse to do it this is so cool and normal
