That’s actually a really good question. Since vampires were once humans, usually we speak the language of our origins. Accents differ, especially if vampires move around a lot.

But I think vampires do have a special language, but it’s not verbal. It’s all in the eyes. I can always tell when I see a fellow vampire in public—I can tell by the way their eyes trace over the curve of someone’s neck, or I get a chill feeling in my spine when we make eye contact. There’s no life behind their eyes, just like mine. It’s like two black holes looking at each other with a strange sort of acknowledgement. Does that make some sense?
