The Secret History
hi your literally so sweet, i just recently found your blog and i love it! do you have a favorite book in particular? i’ve been trying to get into reading but i’ve never found one interesting enough
You’re so kind. Thank you so much :)
That’s such a tough question, to be honest. I’d probably have to say The Secret History (by Donna Tartt) is my favorite overall. I read it years ago, and it’s stuck with me ever since. But it’s not for everyone—the material is heavy and pseudo-academic. It’s not everyone’s type of book, and I get that.
If I were to give you a suggestion for a book to read, it may be helpful if you told me what you enjoy about a book: genre, themes, plot, etc. :) Then, I can narrow your preferences down to one of my favorite books from there! (Or tell me what kind of TV shows/movies you enjoy since you don’t read often and what you enjoy about them). I don’t want to recommend a book that isn’t for everyone and have you be disgruntled with reading.
Thank you for asking and for being kind
