Outside of the manor, there was a hedge maze. It was verdant, sprawling, and tall, and as you went through it the noise of the dinner party grew ever fainter. You were as lost as you weren't; it was both simple and complex. A single tile sat waiting at the end. Beyond it, a pond. The tile regularly switched patterns, and which pattern a traveler stepped on determined their fate. If they were lucky, they'd be teleported back to the manor. If they were unlucky, they'd meet a much more grisly fate.
A stimboard based on a vivid nightmare I had as a child.
