Undertale Inktober: Day 5 - Asgore
“Do not worry, little one. I will keep you healthy.”
The random word I got for today was “keep”. First thing I thought was when he decided to take care of the first flower that bloomed after... well, everything. Sorry it’s another... ‘not so happy’ drawing. ^^;
Prize for @xxtc-96xx from my contest forever ago. XD Frisk and their younger sibling, Astell, are taking a nap. ^^
I’ve been looking forward to animating these two, heh.

Main description
After the events of Undertale, Frisk, Asriel, and MK find a secret room in Waterfall while visiting their old home in Mount Ebott. The room contained an odd mirror which they discover to be a portal to an alternate reality. It was a world where monsters were somehow very different. They were never sealed in the underground, they were stronger, and even had almost human-like souls. The downside? The monsters and humans had not gotten used to each other’s company. Fighting was common. Mercy was not. While trying to find their way back home, Frisk is captured by humans. It’s up to Asriel and Frisk to find them with the help of some familiar faces. Meanwhile, their friends and family back home try to find a way to bring them back. They discover that the key to their return lies in Sans and Papyrus’ past.

Is your asgore a twin of ET asgore? Cause they looks half same.
Well, both designs came from the same game design, so there’s bound to be similarities, right? XD I’m not entirely sure what you mean, but any similarities certainly weren’t intentional. ^^; (I actually prefer TC’s Asgore over mine, heh.)
"Dude, it's like looking into a mirror! ... Except..." ----------- Temporary title is "Over the Void". So after much consideration, I am going to attempt to create my own comic. This is a small teaser for my ideas while I try to come up with a title that hasn't been taken already, heh. Who knows, the temporary title might stick. Hopefully more details will come soon! Until then, try to see what you might get out of this.

I know probably a lot of people have already been spoiled many times for Undertale already, but I want to warn you anyway, haha! The more I think about it, the more hurt I feel about Asgore. Having to continue being king after his wife of... who knows how long, suddenly leaves, never to be heard from again, and the death of his kids. He did make a promise to take the souls of any human that found their way to the underground so that the monsters could have hope after the deaths of their 'future'. But you notice once you get to him, he is not keen on carrying out that promise at all, despite the fact Frisk is the final key to freeing monsters from the underground. Anyway, I wanted to do something quick for you guys, so here you go. Sorry it wasn't happier. ^^;

This is my interpretation of what Asgore was like in his younger days. XD I had a couple of requests to do more of the Dreemurr family. I’ll do my best! I’d like to do this for the other characters as well. Toriel will probably be next!
