Sequel to the TV episode “Judgment Day,” the finale of The New Batman Adventures.

I love this episode and Bruce Timm in general, but man, this really just highlights how Timm's women all kinda look the same, especially at this point in the show.

God, how I wish this scene had been animated in the show's earlier style. One big reason why it took me so long to get into The New Batman Adventures was how flat and dimensionless everyone is, as if they're all drawn with nothing but angles.
The stiff animation also pales to how fluid and alive it was in so many episodes of the earlier series, rather like trying to compare the animation of classic Simpsons to modern Simpsons. Which is a shame, because this scene is delightful, and the writing on many of the episodes was top-notch. It deserved better.
Thank god the style evolved by the time Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker and the Justice League animated series rolled around. Sure, it was also way more stiff than classic TAS, but it was damn better than this.
