(In Leslie’s office, while she works at her desk, Bruce and Harvey play-fight as the Gray Ghost and an unnamed villain)

HARVEY: “You don’t think this is gonna stop me, Gray Ghost?!”

BRUCE: “I made an oath to protect the people of Gotham!” (Grunts)

HARVEY: (scoffs) “You couldn’t save anyone even if you tried! You hide like a coward and watch their suffering!”

(Pause. Bruce punches Harvey, who falls to the floor.)

BRUCE: Take that back!

LESLIE: (standing up) Hey—!

HARVEY: He hit me!

LESLIE: —Cut it out!

BRUCE: … Take it back.

HARVEY: (stammering) I was only saying what they said on the show…!

BRUCE: Take that back or you’ll be sorry!

LESLIE: Stop it! (Softer) That’s enough playing for one day.

HARVEY: He hit me!

LESLIE: (helping Harvey up) It was an accident, Harvey. Apologize, Bruce.

BRUCE: Someday… the bad people will get what they deserve. I will hunt him down and make. Him. Pay.

LESLIE: (appalled) Bruce! Sit down!

(Pause. Bruce sits. Another pause)

HARVEY: … I’ll help you find the person who took your parents. And you can make him pay.

LESLIE: All right, stop it! Listen to me, both of you. What you’re talking about is revenge.

LESLIE: That’s not justice.

ARKHAM SHADOW: Just the Bruce/Harvey scenes

HARVEY: I don’t see any of that. You’ve gotta make it up.

LESLIE: You see what you want to see. It’s abstract.

BRUCE: What’s that supposed to be?

LESLIE: (looking closely) I think… that’s Perseus.

HARVEY: What’s that?

LESLIE: Oh, he was a hero in Greek mythology.

BRUCE: Why was he a hero?

LESLIE: He was, uh… pretty brave, for starters. He went on dangerous adventures, fighting monsters. But it’s more than that. A lot more. What else makes a hero?

HARVEY: They’re strong.

LESLIE: Hm.

BRUCE: They beat up bad people.

LESLIE: Some do, yeah. But punishing bad guys isn’t what makes a hero, y’know. To be a hero, you have to save people too.

HARVEY: The good people.

LESLIE: Everyone.

LESLIE: Harvey, would you pause that, please? (To Bruce) Put your suitcase down, honey.

LESLIE: Harvey, this is Bruce. Bruce, say hello to Harvey. The two of you are going to be roommates.

(Time passes, Leslie is gone and the boys are alone)

HARVEY: What’re you in here for?

BRUCE: My parents were…

(Pause)

BRUCE: You?

HARVEY: My dad’s…

(Pause)

BRUCE: Hey, what’re you watching?

HARVEY: Uh, Gray Ghost. You seen it?

BRUCE: I, uh… I don’t think so.

HARVEY: ‘S good. I can rewind this so we can watch it together.

BRUCE: Hn.

GRAY GHOST ON TV: There’s an ominous presence in the air tonight, Captain!

BRUCE: (sniffles, breaks down sobbing)

HARVEY: (Concerned, understanding) Hey. You’re okay. You’re okay.

For me, Two-Face is a sleeping giant when it comes to Batman’s rogues gallery. He’s someone who I think, unlike the Joker… I think he’s much closer to Batman, and shares a lot of the thematics to Batman, and that’s really interesting. And I love the almost Shakespearian tragedy that they used to be friends. Y’know, that they… when you have love in a relationship between Good Guy and Bad Guy, that does something really interesting and really complex, and I really want to explore that.
