OC RP Mythos - Via Lacrimosa by AaronAsher While I've featured (or mentioned) Hokkou fairly frequently in my works involving my characters, his counterpart is often overlooked...primarily because I'm still kind of meshing her out in the overall story arc. While Hokkou serves as Aaron's conscience in many ways, he is also a being of bright thoughts, shining intentions, and glowing aspirations. He seeks high ground and practically glows with the Light within. Via Lacrimosa, "Via" for short, is another story, though one equally valuable. She carries herself in a solemn and weighted way, like one who has seen much and wearies daily. Her melancholic behavior and subdued personality represent sorrows and sadness, a foil to Hokkou's lively brightness. She flourishes in low and shaded places, seeking the lost to guide them back out of darkness. She finds comfort in the lonely, pensive moments before dawn. She offers safety and shelter in the storm. She rests even in the heart's deepest pain knowing there is a Light when the dark days have ended.
Though a character riddled by darkness and sadness, Via is no villain. She is the valley to every mountain, tears of woe to match those shed with cheer. The counterbalance in a natural state of things. You cannot have the one fully without the other.

Kind of feels like some AU nonsense where Kita (angelic being) and Imago (shadow dork) might have either been good friends or even had some interest in one another before he fell from grace and became leader-founder of the BIOS. Blame this song for the feels and inspiration.
