Okay reblog if you’re an artist who STRONGLY PREFERS reblogs with commentary

People are apparently under the impression that reblogging someone’s art and adding a comment is frowned upon and that can’t possibly be true, every artist I know of sees a positive comment on a reblog as like the ultimate reward for their hard work.

Obviously don’t feel bad for NOT adding a comment if you’re shy or just don’t know what to say, but if there’s something you would like to say about a drawing you’ve liked enough to reblog, I’m pretty sure most artists crave hearing it. Quit hiding it in tags!!

I don’t mind tags either, but there’s nothing wrong with reblogging with a comment. I don’t know how this became taboo. As long as you don’t write something weird like “I don’t like x but the art is nice” or some inappropriate joke, please feel welcome to comment. You’re not ruining anything!

Oh my gosh, please do this. Please. I love invested feedback, if something evokes genuine emotion or if you simply dig my work, please tell me! It’s so encouraging to know someone enjoys what I do, and I can’t always go hunting to see tags... u.u;; It’s a lot easier to see that commentary via reblog, too! <3
