I dreamed of having the original set of this as a kid!

A Futuron Spaceship I built with an emphasis on the Space station walls as a canopy. The tipped on their side approach made for some fussy design work with the left side and right side of the Spaceship being ostensibly top and bottom from a traditional approach to construction.

I had to come up with an alternative method of installing the minifigure, and the resulting interior is a bit clunky, if effective.

This is another one of my MOCs that hews to the Legoland Space ranges part selection, which I think helps make it look and feel like the original product range, even as I push against the boundaries of what can be done with the pieces.

“The Planet of Olde Hickory.”

This photo was shot at night during my birthday roadtrip vacation in late October 2015, and taken in the housing development where I grew up in during the early ‘90s. This housing development is known as The Village of Olde Hickory, right outside the city of Lancaster. For this shot, I used a vintage telephoto lens, a slow 10-second shutter speed, and an aperture of f/1.8. I placed the two minifigures on a tree branch in an open field, and during the slow exposure time, I stood behind the minifigures while dangling a flashlight for backlighting. Meanwhile, I would breathe heavily in the cold air to create mist, and lastly, I scattered leaves amongst the mist to cause distortion. Thus, the misty air and refracted light is what creates the warped background for this image.

LEGO Futuron Theme Space Base - part 1

Another space thingy, this time Futuron based. Computer room, flight control tower with working lift, little space buggy and spaceship and four astronauts with their robots.

Strategic Pursuer. I have doubts about how strategic, and how successful at pursuit this one is. I looked up the name before I posted, and before then I thought it was some kind of robot for handling things like moving construction equipment.
