Techno doesn't argue. Techno gives in easily to pressure.
Wilbur will beg Techno to kill him, and techno could never say no to his twin.
He holds Wilbur's body close.
He has a hard time looking in the mirror for a long time after it.
Can we skip real quick to Tommy living with Techno after the exile and having to see this pig do silly things? (Yes this had twinsduo innit come back)
Like, he knows that Phil lives here and they may eat together but aren't 3 places too much? What's that for?
On the other hand, its weird for Techno to see Tommy to use Wilbur's plate (that became Ghostbur and then...well the gremlin needs to eat)
Or the reading out loud when no one's there. Tommy thinks that Techno is getting some dementia from Philza.
And that hoodie, awfully yellow and ugly and old and why the hell is he so pissed when he asks about the hoodie?

And then he found the chest. The Wilbur chest. And is like splashing him with cold water when he looks at the photography of the smiling twins. When was the last time he saw any of his brothers smile?
By the time they got back together, they both stopped smiling.
Wanna know what would actually hurt more?
Tommy noticed.
Tommy already noticed because he spent more time with Wilbur than techno, by the end.
During Lmanburg Wilbur would read for them. He gave them his old clothes when they couldn't get new ones and would sleep in his uniform.
Tommy gives techno a few sweaters he still has that don't fit them.
Neither of them say it's Wilbur's, but they both know.
I like to think that Ghostbur talks about Techno with Friend at the train station. Remembering how to braid so he doesn't forget. Enumerating every animal Techno has and their names. Potato recipes he saw Techno make. How to take care of a potato farm. How to help Phil with his wings. He tries to remember Sun Tzu phrases but is hard and ends up saying more of the explanation Techno did about the phrase than the phrase perse. He tells myths with a soft voice to Friends even if they change every time and he only knows three: Teseo, Orfeo and Zephyrs.
He does his best to remember how Techno told them, because Techno always was good at that. He's not good at remembering, but he's good at talking, and Friend is a good listener. It helps getting his mind off things, talking about these stories. He can act like it's just another night next to his brother rather than a neverending nightmare
I always like that thing they do in any Au where TwinsDuo is the social butterfly Wilbur and the moth I don't want to come out of my cocoon Techno. I think that it has a good taste of angst with Techno being pushed to be more social like Wilbur and Wilbur having high standards to keep up with by being the center of attention. And it's a good mix because in the fluffy end Wilbur can cover up Techno in social events and Techno can push Wilbur out of social events too (to take a break). I'm an introvert but I think even extroverts can get a little tired. Especially if they are approached with these high expectations of who they are.
I like to think neither are being pushed by outside people but only themselves.
Techno sees himself as Wilbur's twin, and only that - Wilbur, who's outgoing sociable, who can swoon anyone with a couple of words. He can win any conflict before it even happens by defusing the situation. He tries to talk more, to be sociable like him but it's just leaving him constantly burnt out.
Wilbur sees himself as techno's twin. Techno, who's quiet but strong, everyone respects him. He's won more fights than most have ever gotten into. He looks cold but is actually the most wonderful person one can meet - at least for Wilbur. He does his best to get people's respect, earn a spot next to someone as amazing as his brother but it's only hurting him - he has to keep up the facade at all times. He can't be weak, because techno's never weak.
They're only really themselves with the other, at the end of the day. They know the other will make up where they, themselves, lack.
Do you ever think about Ghostbur trying to braid Techno's hair but he can't? Or Techno living in the middle of water and yet there is Ghostbur? Or Techno's mourning for Wilbur having to wait because Phil needs him? Revivedbur going to talking to Techno when he started apologizing only because he couldn't start with Tommy? The voices saying "Wilbur is here" but it was only Ghostbur? The fear that Techno must have felt when the voices said "Wilbur is gone" when Revivedbur yeeted to Utah? Like, his brother is dead again??? The pain in Technoblade never dies, but his brothers did?

Trying to assure him everything's fine when Ghostbur can tell its not, he can tell Techno's hurting but won't tell him why but he remembers Techno used to because they were brothers and trusted eachother and why can't you trust me anymore Techno? Did I do something wrong? And Techno can't tell him why because it would mean admitting he's not ok and-
Ghostbur being all the reasons Techno still helped Wilbur in Pogtopia, only to fucking lose him. Ghostbur reminding Techno every single aspect that made him love his brother. Ghostbur giving back all the memories that Techno forgot and that are the foundation of his emotions. Techno having back all the reasons for his actions in helping his long-gone brother.
Revived! Wilbur taking all back and yet Techno can't forget why he cares.
Ghostbur being the reason for his actions,
Revivebur being the consequences of his actions.
Wilbur being his brother.

Please don't think about Techno jumping every time and getting a little bit of hope every time only for it to be shattered every time he remembered no, Wilbur's not coming back, this is just a pale excuse of an imitation. TwinsDuo headcanon.
Techno is the monotone reader at night for Wilbur when he can't sleep and needs something distracting from his thoughts. All is mythology but at some point Techno stopped reading most gore or war involved myths and centered in adventures (Odysseo) and drama (Zeus fucking some women part 66).
Wilbur is the dramatic tone with different voices for Techno, he even uses gestures and sometimes starts walking while reading the book. He is vocal and loud but not sharp or screaming, since the point is trying to calm down the voices. Sometimes when they get too "bloody", Wilbur reads for them and Techno. Other times, they get loud and Wilbur's reading is too much; so he just plays the guitar in silence.
Sometimes they can't do anything for the other to calm their pain. So they are left alone.
WHY MUST YOU HURT ME LIKE THIS ANDJSJJDDJEJDJ
Techno's voice is probably very regular, almost musical - the same voice you'd hear in an audiobook. Steady. Always the same. Comforing
Wilbur changes, his voice is always interesting - it ends up distracting the voices just enough for them to get off Techno's back, at least for a bit.
Music helps too. They all love some good music, and will quiet down for it.
Usually just being close helps both, though. So when they can't do much else, they do that.
It hurts when they stop talking. Wilbur's panicking and picks up a book to read to himself. It's never the same. It's not the same as techno's steady voice reading the same myth for the thousand time - so much so that Wilbur can imitate him every time without missing a beat
Techno's violin doesn't help like Wilbur's guitar. It doesn't help like laying his head on Wilbur as the strings vibrate and create new sounds.
It has been brought to my attention I haven't been insane about them on main for a while now so

Hmm. Haven't thought much about it.
Techno as a piglin can eat pretty much anything, but he has audhd and pica (which makes him eat non-edible stuff)
He prefers sweeter things with a crunch… and gravel, for some reason. And pen caps. Someone needs to keep an eye on him.
Wilbur probably eats pretty much anything, but berries (the Minecraft ones) are his absolute favorites. Even when he isn't eating anything for whatever reason, he eats those.

Where do I start.
Ok so to me/in my main au (higgs field au) they're brothers - not bio brothers but they look pretty much the same so can easily pass as such.
Wilbur found techno when they were like 13, hurt and scared and basically went "dad I'm gonna keep him" and he did (Tommy was also there but shhh this is a Twinsduo post)
To me they used to be really close when younger - if we follow the higgs field au Will basically saved Techno's life - until an argument about- [spoilers for something I'm working on] happened and they broke apart and it hurt them both SO much.
Wilbur was in the wrong in said argument so he blames himself and Techno, even though he still cared, can't fully forgive him for what he did and it's tearing them apart from the inside.
Also they were so!!! Clingy!!!!
To me both of them are clingy guys but are really awkward about being clingy so when they found out about the other's need for affection they kinda glued to each other (clingy duo copied them a lot and this is a whole other thing I can talk about-)
They were idiots also (affectionate)
Got into fights every other day and worried Phil so so much but also as long as they were together they never got really hurt cause they knew the other was there to help (which made them reckless when eventually they cut contact cause they kept forgetting the other wasn't there.)
ALSO!!!! Techno has a piglin form and keeps it throughout the dsmp cause he can't stand to look in the mirror and see Wilbur look back.
Similarly, Wilbur keeps his hair short, even though he used to have it long, cause he couldn't look in the mirror anymore without seeing Techno starting back hating him like he hates himself.
I could keep going but this is getting pretty long dear God can you tell I have autism
