Survival in Gaza is a fight for everyone and everything, not just humans. Every living thing is caught up in this nightmare, from the smallest creatures to the strongest among us. Take this little cat, for instance. She’s from Jabalia refugee camp, Al-Tarens neighborhood, house number 96, sixth street. Yeah, I know her address. She’s one of us, a Palestinian too, sitting alone in the rubble, her fur matted and dusty, with a raw, swollen eye that speaks of all she’s been through. She’s lost her hearing; explosions shake her tiny frame, but she doesn’t even react anymore. And yet, her will to survive? Unbroken.

In so many ways, she’s Gaza in a nutshell. Life here is a brutal, endless test of endurance. The genocide, the bitter cold, the soaring prices that turn basic needs like food, shelter, medicine into unattainable luxuries. These are things my family and countless others can only dream of.

For families in Gaza, survival itself has become a privilege. Nonprofits that once helped have pulled out, forced away by the very forces that keep us oppressed. And the few who stayed? Acting as middlemen, diverting the aid that’s supposed to be for us. Some prioritize their own networks in distributing aid; others resell what little is sent. Some even claim that half of donations get eaten up by "logistics costs." And then there’s aid that supposedly just "never arrives." So, families like mine are left to fend for ourselves, stripped of even the basic dignity that comes with having our needs met.

I look at this little cat, and I’m struck by the fragility of life here. My family’s hanging by a thread, surviving day to day in a world that seems indifferent to everything we’re going through. And yet, like her, we just keep going. Not because we’re strong or resilient, but because, honestly, what other choice do we have?

If this hits home for you, if this little cat’s fight feels like something you understand, please consider helping. Every donation, no matter the amount, goes directly to where it’s needed most. It can mean a bit of warmth, a moment of safety, maybe even a sliver of hope in these times that feel darker than anything.

From a heart that’s been broken too many times, thank you for standing with us.

If, for some reason, you couldn't donate via GoFundMe, you can donate via PayPal instead.

Please keep the conversion rates in mind when donating through GoFundMe. Every 250 SEK is equivalent to 25 dollars, and 506 SEK equals 50 dollars and so on.

Note: There’s even a raffle for a handmade Palestinian thob if you want to participate : Link

Only 4 donations have been made today!

Please don't let Falastin's fundraiser stagnate and keep up the traction by donating and sharing as much as possible! She and her family are counting on us. Any contribution, big or small, could help make a difference of enough of you take part.

i have just heard from @mohammedshehabtt that the crossing might open soon. screenshot below:

if muhammad is right, the crossing will open soon. that means he has only a limited amount of time to raise funds and get his family to a safe place.

muhammad is only 26. he's younger than i am. it breaks my heart that this is something he has to worry about. unfortunately, it is, and he's got his family to worry about too:

  • mona, his wife, 24 years old
  • iman, 6, and toleen, 5, his daughters
  • his mother and father

they've lost their home in the war. they are currently displaced in deir al balah. iman and toleen have gotten sick due to the conditions in the camp they're staying in. look at these sweet girls; they don't deserve this.

they deserve a home. they deserve warmth and safety. they deserve a cozy bed to sleep in every night, and a home to decorate with star-shaped lights like they had before.

this is not merely a dream they have; it is an attainable goal.

muhammad needs to raise €30k total to get his family out, of which he only has €5257 at the time of my writing this post. i am appealing to all of you who see this post to please share it. please donate whatever you can. i know a lot of people have been feeling hopeless especially now, but please don't. there is hope. if the people of palestine have hope and faith, so should we all. and now more than ever we need to work together to help them.

so please, share and donate. whatever you can do, please do it. thank you.

Hi world , it’s Sahar

Please read this as if I'm a member of your family . maybe your sister, daughter or a friend and as if my family who's under death now is yours.

My name is Sahar. A marketer shopping from Gaza, athe dreams she worked for but found herself losing the city she’s living in and losing any hope of a better future with it . And after a whole 4 years of studying and internship, the war had another idea.

I have 4 children: Hala the oldest, Rital, Odi, and Talin. We had a house full of love, dreams, and hopes that we strive to achieve one by one, but the war came and destroyed everything. We strive to travel outside Gaza to preserve our lives and obtain safety.

. In 15th of January 2024 my son Odai has An injury in his leg byShooting from a quadcopter aircraft in a shelter belonging to the UN Relief Agency

This loss circle didn’t end here, cause after more than 5 times of being displaced and having to leave our house escaping from rockets and death, we returned to our house and found it almost wiped off, more than half if it was destroyed and became an unlivable place leaving us not only with tired hearts but also without a place to stay in

Our Home

We are suffering in the UNRWA shelter center from overcrowding, the spread of diseases, pollution, and the difficulty of obtaining water and entering the bathroom due to the large number present in the place. It has been a year since this suffering.

Look what this horrible war has done to us. It has turned our lives upside down. It is hard for your mind to imagine. You were living in a villa with all your necessities and luxury items available until the war transferred you to live in a school for more than 13 months. We saw death 100 times a minute. I have attached pictures of the suffering of living in the school.

The situation after almost 13 months of this genocide is that the borders of Gaza are still unfortunately closed and no one can get out of it, of course unless you pay the most money to save your life and cross the Rafah crossing to reach Egypt, as crossing the Rafah crossing costs about $25,00 to $5,000 per person, and as a family of 9, the amount we have to pay just to get to Egypt seems impossible to bear.

So, this is how the money will be spent:

* Paying about $5,000 for each member of my family of 9 to cross the Rafah crossing and safely reach Egypt

* About $5,000 covers the GoFundMe transaction fees (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction)

* The rest of the money will be for housing, food, etc. for a period of time in Egypt

Asking for your help is the only way to save my family’s life and future, and your help may become our hope when hope is far from us under these circumstances, every dollar you can help with may save a life, bring hope to a tired heart and save a young future.

Please don't read this as a tragedy, I am here to ask you to prevent further tragedy and help us start our lives over. I am here to ask for your help not your sympathy, to ask you to take action either by donating or by sharing this with everyone you know who can help, please read this with your heart and take action as if it were your family, your mother and your siblings who are living in these circumstances.

Here is the donation link. Don't be stingy with me, even if it is a little. You will have contributed to preserving the lives of my family. With best wishes.

12€ raised in the past 2 days.

And it all only comes from 1 donation. I know I've already said this countless times before, but I will say this again: this is not enough. Sahar has a big family of 9 to take care of, and 4 of them are children under the age of 16. That's almost the same age as me! Younger, even. But I am safe and undangered while they are forced to endure the worst conditions no child should have to go through.

I can't imagine myself trapped in such a barbaric environment of endless conflict, and I hate that that is their reality. So please, don't forget Sahar, and don't ignore her pleas, and donate if you can and share. Every penny counts.

Help Fadel the injured to get rid of the pain and live safe...🥺

My name is Fadel Al Dani, a third-year student in Information Technology, 23 years old. My life has not been normal for a long time. Since the beginning of the conflict with the Israeli occupation, we have been living in a recurring cycle of displacement and fear. We have moved more than five times from one house to another, searching for a safe haven from the bombs that are falling like rain. Each time we hoped to find a place far from danger, but the war left no room for hope.

Fate eventually brought us back to our home, and we thought it would be our last refuge. But one dark night, shells rained down on us, destroying our home and injuring me and my family. The pain at that moment was indescribable, and we did not know if we would survive or become just another number in the death toll.

My family and I were transferred in extremely dangerous conditions to a hospital in the southern part of the Gaza Strip because the hospitals in the north had completely collapsed. The journey was full of death and fear, as if we were crossing a road covered in gunpowder and blood. We finally reached the hospital where the doctors were able to remove some of the shrapnel that had penetrated my body, but there were still shrapnel stuck inside me that they could not remove. The surgery I need is very complicated and cannot be performed here due to the lack of medical resources.

Now I live in constant pain every day, and the shrapnel in my body reminds me every moment that I am racing against time. I must leave Gaza as soon as possible because the danger here never stops, and the shrapnel moves inside me, and the bombing follows us everywhere. I am the person who most deserves to get out for treatment and get rid of this pain. My travel cost $7,000 to get out of Gaza and $3,000 for treatment, which means a total of $10,000. It is a large sum, but I have no other choice. Every passing moment brings me closer to death, and all I can do is ask for help, even a little, in the hope that I will survive and get out of this ordeal.

We are now going through a major food shortage crisis and I am an infected person and I need food, and the food available in the market is not good and unhealthy and its price is very, very expensive, which has led people to search for food in the garbage. This is what has caused the spread of many diseases and epidemics.

The more I feel the pain of the shrapnel still inside me, the more determined I am to stay. We are in constant danger here and we desperately need to leave. I beg you to help us, even if it is by sharing my story or a small amount, because any support could save our lives.

My family, my dear friends and everyone who knows me or not.

My name is Issam, I live in Gaza, and I'm 29 years old. Everyone who knows me knows that I am a reserved, quiet and reclusive person. I have always been an independent person and used to do everything myself for my family. So, I hope you understand that today it's difficult for me to talk about my personal issues and finally ask for help

I will tell you my story briefly, after I realized some of my dreams a short time ago by marrying my life partner and moving into my house, which we only stayed in for a few days until we were in the middle of the war, we fled to save ourselves and stay alive, we lost hope in life after all our dreams that we had dreamed of since childhood were shattered

One of our dreams was to settle in the house we built stone by stone and be happy like other couples, but we couldn't because of the war.

I used to work as a lawyer in several companies, I am unemployed, I lost my job, I have no source of income, and everything I saved I put in the house, the house was destroyed and I have nothing now.

This is a picture of me as a lawyer with the head of the Bar Association

My wife and I decided to start a fundraising campaign so that we can get some money to evacuate us after we lost everything, to rebuild our house that was destroyed by the occupation, and to get food, water and other necessities of life so that we can live first and then think about our future, which we don't know anything about.

Now, this is our house, which was destroyed by the occupation after my wife and I equipped it

The place where we live now is devoid of all the necessities of life, and we struggle with access to water, food, safety, and all the necessities needed to live.

I realize that we're all going through tough times, so anything that helps, whether it's your love and support, your donation, sharing my story, or sending love and prayers, it's all accepted and greatly appreciated, and I hope that anyone who is able to help me will help me and spread the link, because literally every dollar makes a difference.

The Shehab family has been campaigning since May of 2024, and they have finally reached around 92% of their goal!

Over the past year, they have been displaced over 10 times, lost their home and income, and lived without the basic nessities for life.

Please, please use this time to help boost them to their goal. Donate if you're able to and share their campaign; I repeat; THEY ARE ALMOST THERE!!

€78,137/€85,000

IMPORTANT UPDATE (Original post text archived above)

Hello. I was informed that, just before they met their goal, this family's funds were blocked and seized by the bank. They have lost everything and had to restart from square one.

They have been set all the way back to only $12 CAD out of $100,000. 12 dollars. They were 92% there and it's all gone.

Please, I beg you all, help the Shehab family however you can. This is a huge setback but please don't let it shake your dedication to helping them.

PLEASE STOP AND LOOK! Help This Ghazzawi Family!

Eslam is a teacher and a young mother of 2; Hanaa (age 5) and Ana (age 1). Since last year, she and her family have been fighting to survive the siege on Ghazzah.

She and her family lost their home to the bombings, displacing them all to a tent. The unhygienic conditions have caused both of Eslam's children to develop skin diseases.

Medicine and soup are extremely expensive in Ghazzah, $30 a bar; since Eslam's husband Rasmi had his place of work bombed, these prices are are completely unsustainable.

In order to help support their daily life and be able to evacuate, they need to raise $50,000 USD. So far, they've only raised $14,262 USD; their last donation was 4 hours ago.

Everyone, please contribute what you're able; donate if you can and share their campaign. Everything helps.

Thx for supporting me 🫂🇵🇸🍉🙏❤️‍🩹🌺🍀

Currently at $32,962 / $50,000 USD.

Eslam and his family needs our support now more than ever! The costs for basic living necessities have been skyrocketing, and the costs for a single carton of milk and a single packet of diapers have rose to $100 and $200 respectively. Obviously these kind of things don't last so they need to keep buying them, as well as other expenses such as clothes, getting better shelter, and medicine.

Please don't stop your support for Eslam's fundraiser and keep donating and sharing as much as possible! Every contribution counts.

I’m Ahmed Alanqar from Gaza, where we have lived our entire lives under siege, facing daily hardships and military actions. In October 2023, the conflict escalated catastrophically, destroying my newly built home, my neighborhood, my workplace, and robbing us of our sense of safety.

We are now homeless, desperately seeking a chance to build a new life away from the constant threat of bombings that have become our grim reality.

As we face this challenge, my children are always at the forefront of my mind: Zeina (8 years), Eileen (7 years), Yamen (5 years), and Ronza, who is just four months old and was born during the war.

My wife Dina and I dream of offering them better opportunities than we ever had, a future filled with security and happiness. 💜

Ronza: A Symbol of Innocence Amidst the Destruction 💝

Every time I look at Ronza, I see pure innocence in her eyes, unaware of the terror that surrounds us. She smiles and plays, oblivious to the danger and destruction around her. I can't help but wonder: How long will this innocence last? How long can we protect her and her siblings from this reality? I know that I want them to have a life they deserve, free from fear and filled with love and opportunity.

This Campaign is a Call for Hope, to Guide Our Children Toward a Better Tomorrow ✨

This call is for all who believe that every child deserves a life of dignity and safety. Your contribution is not just a donation; it’s an act of shaping a new life for Ronza and her siblings, ensuring they grow up in a world filled with hope, away from the horrors of war.

Thanks to Your Support, We Have Made Progress, but We Still Need Your Help 💖🕊️

Thanks to your generosity, we’ve raised €77,630 of our €100,000 goal. Your support has shown us that humanity is still alive and strong. Your help is a light of hope that we’re building our children's future on.

We kindly ask for you to continue supporting us by donating or sharing our story. Together, we can ensure that our children have the safe, bright future they deserve, filled with peace and opportunities.

Listen, I know, you all have been seeing fundraiser posts all day long. I've seen people complain that the tags for Palestine are "unusable" now because… genocide victims use it to find aid to survive.

Thing is, those posts will be here until Israel ceases it's aggression. And Palestinians will need your aid as far as they are left with no income and besieged. I've tried reaching out to other platforms, and Tumblr is still the best place for at least Falastin (Gazan who I spotlight for more than 2 months) to get donations; because here you don't need thousands of followers to get interactions. And at least we get one in ten response here; on other platforms both of us don't get any.

So yes, a dying website for fandom is her best bet to save her family right now. We don't speak of evacuation anymore (even though we hope for it), this is a battle for day-to-day survival. The prices in Gaza are increasing every hour, and they have no income and Falastin has gone into multiple debts to help them before starting the campaign in June. And yes, she receives more attention now but her family is still in starvation - she tries to support 26 people now, since her cousin was martyred and his 2 children joined 24 of her family in Al-Mawasy.

Yes, they should get free aid from all those countless non-profits that raise millions. But if they see something labelled as "aid" it is because they have bought it themselves. Yes, you can see (and maybe touch!) aid if you subject yourself to hours-long queues and/or humiliation of being a part of a photoshoot. They also said that the aid they get is stale at best and spoiled at worst; and that's again, if they get it.

Yes, there are grassroots organizations but they cannot reach everyone, because they are in small teams and they don't receive a lot of funds. And you can of course donate to them to try "fix" this; but please do not think that it means individual fundraisers are not worth supporting. I did not see any evidence of individual fundraisers "taking" money from others; on the contrary, when Falastin's fundraiser struggles, I see others struggle too. When we celebrate a good day of donations we celebrate it with others too.

And I could talk about Harris campaign get 1 billion in donations and still receiving them or how AO3 got 200k in a couple of days; but the post is getting too long.

Anyway. Please consider donating to Falastin's campaign; the money would buy food and water first, shelter and clothes for the winter second. There's a raffle for hand-made Palestinian thobe that Falastin's friend makes (LINK); and please follow her here.

Donate via Gofundme (in SEK! check rates below please): LINK

  • 10$ = 108 SEK
  • 25$ = 272 SEK

Vetting info: #282 in El-Shab-Hussein and Nabulsi's spreadsheet [here], #957 in the Butterfly Project spreadsheet [here]

700 reblogs on this post (and more on others) and Falastin got 172$ for the last 24 hours. That's 6.6$ per person; that's not enough to live on not just in Gaza but also in many countries. If everyone who reblogged donated 50 cents it would be double of that. So please match me with 54 SEK/5 USD donation (above that would be appreciated).

My friend Iyad Alanqar @eyadnasir-6 and his family have been through unimaginable trauma and grief. After their home was destroyed by an airstrike, they fled to Al-Shifa hospital, only for the hospital to be bombed as well. They had to flee to southern Gaza, and now live in a tiny tent, without proper access to food or shelter from harm.

They have been subjected to regular bombing around them. Iyad described it as, "Our lives have turned into a living hell, surrounded by fire and phosphorus everywhere, as if we are trapped in a nightmare from which we cannot wake up." Due to the phosphorus and smoke, Iyad has developed respiratory issues, which worsen each day.

Iyad's family has lost all of their dreams and goals in life. His father's company was destroyed, losing their source of income. Iyad's dreams of continuing his studies to become an accountant were demolished when his university was destroyed.

Now the Alanqar family struggles just to have their basic needs met. Access to water is far from their tent, resulting in even Iyad's young nephews having to carry large water jugs long distances so they can have the water they need. Food and medical care are extremely expensive and difficult to access, and with Iyad's father's company destroyed, they struggle to make any money to pay for these basic needs.

€3,885 / €40,000

Iyad and his family rely on this fundraiser for survival now, as they have lost their jobs, their homes, everything they once called their own. However, donations have been slow, and they have only reached about 10% of their total goal!

Please, the Alanqar family needs your help to survive. They need money to purchase food and medical care for Iyad's respiratory issues. Iyad deserve to be able to breath. His nieces and nephews deserve to have food to eat. Please, share and donate. Help Iyad and his family live! Anything you can give makes a difference in their lives.

Subject: Please Co-Sponsor S.J. Res 111-116 To Disapprove the Military Sale of Weapons to Israel

Email: My name is [your name] and I am your constituent from [full address]. I am asking the Senator to cosponsor S.J.RES 111-116 to disapprove the following military sale of certain defense articles and services to Israel. The resolution was introduced by Senator Sanders. The US has funded over 70% of Israel’s genocide of Palestinians in Gaza and offered a nonstop flow of weapons even though there’s indisputable proof of Israel blocking aid for over 1 year, and nearly 500 reports of U.S. weapons being used to kill and injure Palestinians. Over 60,000 people have died due to indirect deaths due to aid blocking.
