So yesterday RIOT OFFICIALLY RELEASED JAYCE'S ARCANE LEGENDARY SKIN and this is a post about it + speculation. please mind possible spoilers but there is a lot of jayvik potential to chew on

i want jayce and Caitlyn to interact so badly again. Like they would be like oh so you lost your partner and now they're in a fight club and dying their hair black and you don't know who they are? Well mine became Jesus and left. Also these two characters have so many parallels

It would go like this:

Jayce: so, how is your girlfriend

Caitlyn: they're a fighting alcoholic

Jayce: that sounds tough. Were you together long?

Caitlyn: we kissed once and then had a brutal confrontation with her sister and I nearly killed a child

Jayce: my boyfriend became Jesus.

Caitlyn: sounds really sad, did you two ever kiss?

Jayce: no, but we had affection. Also, I experienced bi panic and somehow got a girlfriend

Caitlyn: and what happened to him?

Jayce: he became Jesus

Caitlyn: very tragic. Imma go become a dictator and lose important parts of myself now

Jayce: cool, Imma age 20 years and have my girlfriend get abducted by witches

JAYVIK IS CANON IN DUTCH???

In the dutch translation, the line "it was affection that held us together" is translated as "liefde hield ons bij elkaar", literally meaning:

love held/kept us together.

If they wanted to translate affection literally, it should've been "genegenheid (fondness/affection) hield ons bij elkaar" or "het was genegenheid die ons bij elkaar hield"
