Soon I will reveal game room 2.0
Hey, I haven’t posted in FOREVER, But here’s a game room update for you.
Jubeat, MAME cabinet, and Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga cab, new shelf for most of my games and new lighting!
I went to Barcade on St Marks in NYC and I found this Robocop arcade cab! I laughed that they had to put film reel clips on the marquee art? To remind you that Robocop is a movie I guess? I thought that was kinda odd. It wasn't the best game, but I'm glad I found it and got to play it!
These look so nice on backer cards ✌️ http://beedots.storenvy.com/
Hey guys! So, a shitty thing happened - my cat knocked into my coffee cup and wrecked my expensive work laptop. Motherboard, keyboard, speakers and battery all need to be replaced. It's hundreds of dollars that I really did not want to spend... I’ve been bringing my desktop back and forth to work in the meantime :I SO, I decided to finally open up a little shop to sell my leftover arcade pins and I also am taking pre-orders for the Anxiety pin. It should ship out to you next month! http://beedots.storenvy.com/ I’m hoping that this will help me pay for the repairs. I swear, as soon as I get ahead, something like this happens. Thanks! <3
“Silent Hill: The Arcade” [Japanese arcade flier]
- via Video Game Ads
- This guy has a very nice collection of arcade fliers and obscure game ads! Deserves the follow!
- So how do you bring a respected, atmospheric survival-horror franchise to the arcades? Well, you add a light gun and turn it into a rail shooter of course!
(Konami - 2007)
I finally got to play this a few months ago after wanting to play it for literal years and I was pretty disappointed in it. It's a really cool looking machine at least 👍

Well, that’s different…
What the .... ?????????????
How do we feel about the Pokken Tournament arcade cabinet?
Personally I think it almost looks really awesome, and I’d be pretty keen to play it. BUT, the use of the console controller kind of ruins it for me. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a cool controller, I’m just not sure I want one on an arcade cabinet.
Thoughts?
The game was built to be played with a controller. It would probably be really awkward with a proper stick. Besides, the controller is absolutely solid and built by HORI.
I don’t entirely take your point, given it uses a d-pad. If it used an analog stick it’d be a totally different matter.
I played it Japan and I thought it was ... ok? :/ it felt more like I was playing a game demo in a store rather than an arcade game.
I cried.
