NO SPOILERS: This was pre-release fan art that was proved completely wrong within the first five minutes of turning on the game A ToTK comic I drew right before the game was released (but didn't finish until four months later after I had already beaten the game) where I desperately still believed that Zelda would be a playable character and was also having some Steven Universe fun with the new fuse ability.

I just found out about hyruleheart’s Zelink Week like two hours ago and while I know I won’t be able to participate the whole week due to being out of town + busy schedule, here’s a quickie for day one! <3

These freaking idiots. When I first saw this I laughed and laughed and laughed.
"Oh, that princess… She’s quite an interesting one, let me tell you. You wanna hear something juicy? When we reach a certain age, even the princess comes to a point where she has love on her mind, right…? [Of course!] OK, WELL… You didn’t hear it from me, but every night the princess goes on a little excursion inside the castle. Her maids say that she’s secretly meeting someone. Apparently, she’s not very good at the "secretly" part. So, one night, someone gave in to the delicious temptation of curiosity and decided to follow the princess… And guess what happened! [What happened?] The princess stopped in front of a large painting on display in the center of the castle. And she stood there just staring up at the painting for 10 minutes. And then went back to her room. Just like that! So when the person following her went to inspect the painting… You’ll never guess what happened! That painting…? [What?] This painting was of a hero and princess from several generations ago cuddling in one another’s arms… This person following her—it wasn’t me, I swear—continued to follow her every night! Creepy. And it was the same thing every time! Princess Zelda would just stare at the picture night after night… Not a very exciting end, I suppose. Maybe that’s not so juicy after all. Oh well. They can’t all be overripe fruit! The painting brought out a look of such admiration that had never been seen before in the princess. Now you’ve heard it. Go on, now. I had no idea until now that this was even in the game D=. I feel like I somehow missed a ton of stuff in my playthrough (aka stuff with characters) that affected my overall enjoyment of the game (I kept feeling like I missing a ton of character moments and scenes... but maybe that stuff just happened off screen?). But yay canon ZeLink painting.

So I just made a collab with probably one of the most amazing people around djgshfkgjf <3 I did the sketching, she did the coloring, and I did a bit of post processing but ungh her coloring is so delicious I dont even <3 Hope you guys like, we had a ton of fun doing it!

I approve of this collaboration. No, seriously, you are both awesome (Feri, you and your crazy clean lines; Spud, you and your crazy appealing colors). We should clearly just all magically be able to do collabs like this all the time and nothing else.
PS Spud, you appear to be, as of a few minutes ago, following all my tumblr blogs except this one, which I love because I know that totally happened by chance, since most people don't realize AnimationTidbits and AskHylia are run by the same person. But yeah, the follow and this top of my night.
