Jessica Brooks knew about the Hotchner boy. She heard the stories. His father, the prestigious and respectable lawyer, though he stepped out on his wife often. The mother, a semi-happy homemaker who withdrew further and further from social circles with her husband’s infidelity. And the oldest son, the one who was sent away to boarding school when the younger son was born and came back only to stir up trouble. Being two years behind her sister Haley, who was only one year behind the Hotchner boy, Jessica never had a single class with him, but she still didn’t like him. Her father never liked him and warned Haley away once he found out that the Hotchner boy joined the theatre group.

It's a hot mess, but there's barely any time left in the day and I want this out before midnight and I like it so we're going with it! Title comes from All I Want- Kodaline, which is a great song, but when you apply it to Hotchley, specifically when it comes to 100, it hurts in the best way. I couldn't resist the ending. That's literally the reason for its existence :)

He pulls into the drive, muscle memory stopping him from hitting one of the plant pots. The flowers it once contained are dead. Of course they are. What else could they be?

He doesn’t bother being quiet. There’s a reason Haley is still alive. A reason Foyet hadn’t shot her the moment he got his hands on her. It’s something to do with him. What, he isn’t entirely sure, but it’s linked to him.

He may as well make Foyet aware he’s there.

"Well, isn't this a pleasant surprise?" Foyet jokes when Aaron appears in the doorway.
