My pitch for a new line of special jerseys: replace the logos with beanie babies
Concept: a coffee shop called Beanie Baby's. The shop has old beanie babies sat on shelves for decoration, along with bags or containers of coffee beans. The beanie babies have been altered slightly or given different clothes to make them fit that sort of coffee shop vibe. When a staff member has worked there for a month, they and whoever trained them go around to thrift stores, garages etc. until they find a beanie baby that's close to their appearance, and the staff alter it a bit to make it look more like the staff member it's supposed to be. The staff member beanie babies all wear beanies with the shop logo, which are also included in the staff uniform, and sold at the coffee shop. Regular customers can also request that a beanie baby of them be found/altered (for a certain price). Sometimes people donate old beanie babies they're trying to get rid of.
During the month of October they celebrate Hallobean. They find costumes for all the beanie babies displayed, or sometimes hold competitions among customers to see who can create the best costume. The winner gets a free drink of choice, or a beanie if they prefer. Special food and drinks are offered throughout the month: a "monster mocha", a "ghost roast", a "vampire batte" (instead of a latte), "creepy cookies", homemade halloween candy, "Frankenstein fudge". On the night of Halloween they stay open later than usual, and offer drinks at a lower price: coffee or caffeinated tea for people who are going to be out late (or parents who are going to go trick or treating with their kids), and non-caffeinated drinks for the kids.
