we have now found TWO secret videos!! at the same time!!!!!!

they were both found with the same method - the first 4 characters were found in the teaser image for the new whitepine episodes and the rest of the characters were found in the trailer videos for said episodes. they're also titled "2" and "3" and are direct continuations of the 1 video!

ep 2 of whitepine is so fun because i feel like we get more insight into ivory's perspective, if that makes sense. it's small things, but it's like how the montage is likely how ivory actually feels like at the moment ash is coaching her, ivory being able to overhear ash's conversation as she goes down the stairs, various things being in and out of focus, and the music stopping when ross tells her about the forest. it feels like the audience is feeling what ivory is experiencing emotionally, and it's such a wonderful filmmaking thing ivory's is doing! it's very cool way of showing instead of telling :)

Whitepine is such a nice fresh breath of air in regards to YouTube content. It really uses silence to its advantage. It’s direction really makes use of the quiet moments so the audience can take it in the environment and really get emerged into the world. But it also just has this isolated feel to the mansion?

It’s really cool to see and the fibes are amazing.

My initial joke about cIvory being an autism icon was just based on her taking things too literally but she's definitely been written to be neurodivergent. Alongside her speech impediment, she also stresses extremely easily, has "unusual"/muted reactions to events (such as Mysticat's murder, even if she didn't know her, that's still a dead body), and struggles with being given instructions, requiring a set order and specificity to do things. There's also her habit of apologising a lot. Also really interesting how she says she was just found in the woods, implying she doesn't have that many memories before that (or she's keeping them hidden). Idk. I love strong characterisation.
