He’s never stuttered before, and came out quieter than he intended, but couldn’t help it when he was asking you for a date to your face, instead of the much rehearsed monologue in his head.
SignificantOther!Takeshi who bought you about a thousand flowers on your first date. He picked you up promptly at 6:30, and you could barely see him through the door as he held a gigantic bouquet of your favorite flowers. He just wanted to impress you so much.
SignificantOther!Takeshi who refers to you as his good luck charm. His anxiety always leaves him during a fight when he glances over to see you cheering him on. Seeing your smile beam at him with your eyes lit up makes him the most confident he’s ever been.

- You first met up with Takeshi when you were both children, just after he was released from the Furumi labs, as you were both in the same class in school, and somehow, shared a desk together.
- Though a bit shy, Takeshi was rather friendly and sociable, and you easily hit it off and helped him integrate in their new environment and in your friend group.
- But being so fun and the best at sports in the whole school, he easily became sort of a popular guy, and everyone wanted to be his friend.
- Even if he was constantly flocked around by around kids of all ages, you still remained his best friend.
- You were the only girl he’d use a nickname to call, and even use the cute ‘-chan’ suffix; you were the only one he’d give flowers and little trinkets on random occasions, the only one whom he’d call over to his house, or to Uncle Furumi to play on the consoles, the only one to whom he’d return the chocolates on White Day.
- You also tease him that his name means Samurai or Warrior, and that he’s basically your Knight in Shining Armor.
- His parents were quick to tell him that he has a crush on you, and they approved, saying you were a lovely lady, but it was his mentor who successfully urged him to take the first step and ask you out on the last day of school.
- He kissed your cheek one day during your school graduation, and made a pinky promise to always keep in touch, no matter what.
- You and Takeshi also went to the same high-school, and it’s around that time you find out that he’s super into karate, and about his superhuman strength.
- You have first seats for all of his matches, and since he wins, he gets the congratulatory prize of a cheek kiss.
- Your first real kiss happens when you go to prom together.

Raian Kure:
Raian’s one of the best Kure in the business regardless of his etiquette, so it’s not unusual to be gone for weeks at a time. Being his s/o, you would have to come to peace with this since it’s a non-negotiable part of his life.
That being said, when Raian is close enough to you that the two of you share a living space, he doesn’t expect you to start wearing his clothes. In fact, he kind of shuns you from doing so. The man goes through so many tracksuits because of how reckless he is, so he needs there to be clothes for him available when he comes home in bloody rags.
The first few times he comes home and finds you nodding off in his t-shirts, he’ll nudge you and ask what your problem is. Sadly, you’re too sleepy to give him a direct answer and the warmth radiating off him causes you to latch onto him. He’s able to shrug you off long enough for a shower before returning. He’ll mention that if you need more clothes to just take his card and get what you want (king).
It’s not until months of this occurring that he makes the connection. You miss him so you wear his shirts. It’s stupid, and he’s not all that moved, BUT he starts to form an connection. You + his shirt = you are his. It’s a primitive train of thought, yes, but it keeps him from ripping his shirts off you (unless you want him to) the moment he finds you enveloped in them.
Ohma Tokita:
- Ya’ll read that extra comic wear he thought Himuro was broke bc he was wearing ripped jeans?
- Ohma is initially confused. He knows you have your own shirts, and they fit much better on you than his own- be it his are too tight or literally draping off of you. He can’t see why you would be wearing his shirt to sleep. Are you not uncomfortable? He won’t ponder the idea much as he’s ready to doze off right next to you, shirt be damned.
- Ohma does end up asking you if you ran out of shirts or if you two needed to do laundry. He does come home drenched in blood more often than he should... You have to take a moment to tell him that no, you just like wearing his shirts because they remind you of him and they can’t help but miss you when he’s gone on those long trips.
- This dork is shocked beyond comprehension. He makes some sort of mental connection to you missing him and him needing to be a good partner (by advice of Himuro or someone he believes has brains), so he asks you if you miss him, why don’t you come with him? Of course, he doesn’t want you to be in dangerous situations, but he’s strong enough to protect you.
- He does feel compelled to hold you tighter or actually initiate cuddling when he comes home to find you in his clothes. It’s one of the few times he makes the move himself.
Takeshi Wakatsuki:
- Dude, he’s gonna feel like crap. At first, he comes home to you asleep in his shirt and he’s thinking, “How cute...” but the morning after, when he teases you about it and you just tell him not to blame you and that you missed him, he feels awful for being gone. Hell, he can’t even remember what he was doing that entire week! Couldn’t have been more important than being by you.
- He’d apologize for being gone and once you have settled that, he decides to tease you some more. He’ll tell you that you look too good in his shirts and that you should start wearing them more often, to which if you banter back (”What would be the point if you’re just gonna take it off two seconds after?”) he’ll want to steal you away to himself and make up for lost time.
- Takeshi is sweet about the entire thing. In fact, you might find stray hoodies or shirts lying conveniently next to your side of the bed or your favorite place to relax when he’s gone for notably longer periods of time. He feels bad, so he thinks it’s sweet that wearing hir clothing brings you some comfort.
- He’s the guy who takes something of yours as equal trade. If you get to be cuddle up in his shirts for those nights, then it’s only fair that he has a scarf or oversized sweater of yours for himself. He won’t admit it, but on some of his more restless nights away from you those accessories soothe him.
