bonney is literally unmatched. she watched her father's whole life through his eyes, saw every pain and triumph he went through, felt just how much he loves her. learns that her mission to save her dad is likely not possible, and also who exactly is responsible for this. and then gets right back up and decides to kill one of leaders of the world government. and she's 12 years old

I was gonna wait till the official chapter to screenshot this quote but I don't really like how Shonen Jump translated this quote...
SJ officially translated it as "Your death is a nuisance to every person who's ever known and loved you" which just makes it sound so... negative.
But in all seriousness, it's moments like this that truly remind me just how much one piece means to me.
Even if Oda doesn't intentionally write these morals into his story, it's moments like these that truly feel as if the characters are speaking to us.
Even if you think you're nothing but trouble to those around you, there will always be people who grieve for your loss.

every single chapter has given me whiplash post wano we have learned so much information in so few chapters 😵💫 this really felt like a confirmation that we HAVE to go to elbaph at some point and gave us a more serious reason than just “usopp looks up to giants” (though i do hope he gets to reunite with some of the giants we let in the past :,)) also robin finally finally FINALLY not being completely cut off from her past with the possibility of saul being alive along with the books that made her an archeologist…god i am so happy for her i love her so much she has been through literal hell on earth her whole fucking life besides these years with luffy and those moments with the archeologists and saul 🥲 i love her with everything i just want her to be so happy

ok but honestly, the World Government’s decision to abolish the entire Shichibukai system so that all pirates can be held accountable for their actions and are once again reduced to wanted criminals being effective immediately hunted down by the Marines only to get hit by a UNO reverse card with the formation of Cross Guild where the Marines now also have bounties placed on them and the hunters finally become the hunted is truly revenge at its finest lmao
