i’ve been thinking about lenalee lately
D. Gray Man Tarot Cards | Pt. 1, The Moon; Lenalee Lee
this may seem like it’s coming out of nowhere but i was reading a bunch of unpopular dgm opinions and i reallyy dont like how so many people only view lenalee as the underdeveloped female character, i think it’s mostly due to the slow updates and the fact that allen’s arc is the main focus right now that we haven’t seen much of her but there’s definitely room for future development. right now she’s put in a very conflicting situation because though she cares deeply for her friends she can’t just abandon the black order, unlike allen & kanda she’s still strongly attached to it, because to her that’s her true home. so im really curious how she’d act once we go deeper into the whole the order vs allen part of the story, like depending on how things play out lenalee could be one of the best written characters in the manga.
and yeah i know this is somewhat based on my assumptions but i don’t see lavi getting hate for being “underdeveloped” when his arc hasnt really been explored much either, like i personally love him so much because i see so much potential to his future arc, and i see that for lenalee too
