I will preach this statement made by the BBC with regards to The Timeless Children to the ends of the earth. It’s been around for a while now but nothing wrong with reminding people that ultimately creative freedom is important and I think it is an important message to those that constantly harass the people that are a part of making Doctor Who, and those that still enjoy it (and there is a clear distinction between voicing an opinion and imposing it forcefully).

Doctor Who is an endless universe with decades and decades of content. Not everyone is going to love everything about the show and not everyone is going to agree but it is important to let the writers do their thing and allow people to enjoy it, even if you feel different about the direction and choices that are being made. Just as you are entitled to your opinion, so are we. Be kind and allow the show to change and evolve because ultimately, that is what it is all about and it wouldn’t still exist without it.
