Everyone is entitled to their opinions and everyone is entitled to their beliefs … but if the opinions and feelings are rooted in denying certain people basic human rights, I’ve got a problem with that.

[On seeing himself as Captain America for the the first time]: Terrifying. I think the first time I saw it was back when I was still pretty insecure and a little apprehensive about taking the role. So it was a real dichotomy. There was simultaneous joy, but at the same time, a deep fear. That’s eroded over time, and now it’s very familiar. It feels very comfortable. It feels great now, and damn, if I had said no, I would have been the biggest fool on the planet. 

To me, success is maintaining a certain level of existence. We always have so much noise in our brain- we will think about the past, worry about the future- always living in tension. This is unhealthy. I think the smartest way is to try and maintain your existence, discard the worries, live in the moment. Only by living in the moment can you obtain happiness.
