Sorcha and Red, from Daughter of the Forest, by Juliet Marillier. I’m done, bye.
This was a conversation I had with my friend today. Because I will loan out my $80 kindle but not my $15 book.
Anyone around here could recommend me something to read similar to the Sevenwaters Triology by Juliet Marillier (or anything with a female protagonist, a quest, fantasy, ancient times and sex)?
Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers is one of the best/most similar I’ve found. It’s a series of 3 books and it’s fucking fabulous. You could also try Green Rider by Kristen Britain. I love the series, it’s a little bit slower but it’s got a great female protagonist. Finnikin of the Rock by Melina Marchetta is absolutely amazing(another set of 3 books). I really can’t recommend it enough.
Have you guys seen this yet!?!?! 😍 because it's fucking fabulous.
"Or there's that strange old story about the brothers being turned into swans."
"Not so very old, and close enough to home, that one," said Master Oisin.

I finished Dreamer's Pool and oh lord guys. It's so beautiful. Please go read it. If you are any kind of Marillier fan, or just a fan of books in general, then you need this book in your life.
Juliet Marillier just made a reference to Sevenwaters in the Blackthorn and Grim series and I am dying.
